We always liked Bob Dylan, in theory. Having several actors play the role helped to make his music more palatable and provided a more complex understanding of the man. Was he really so nettlesome? In a film that seems constructed of anomolies - the one that stood out strangely was the Richard Gere as Billy the Kid as Bob Dylan.
